Pensiunea Play - Deva

I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. Cleanliness was excellent and I appreciated having private parking for my vehicle. The staff was accommodating and provided great service. The hotel is conveniently located near mountains and close to the city centre.

Not obvious to find.

Huge parking spaces, clean and well-equipped rooms, comfortable beds, perfect view of Deva's castle, superb food at the restaurant, friendly staff.

Nothing negative to say.

The location was convenient, close to the city centre, but still near mountains. the room was clean and the bathroom was spacious. the service could have been better, as the check-in process was confusing and the staff prioritized serving drinks over handling check-in formalities. the breakfast was served at an outside restaurant, which was uncomfortable during the cold mornings. On the bright side, free parking space was available.

The hotel's restaurant did not provide decent food and some guests complained about loud music from nearby events.

Great Location with plenty to see and do. the staff was pleasant and helpful. the hotel also offered free parking, which was a great advantage. the room was also well laid out and quite cozy, which was perfect for a Christmas stay.

Unfortunately the hotel didn't deliver on the promise of a Christmas atmosphere in any way. There were scant decorations, no caroling, no holiday menus in the restaurant, and no special activities.

During Xmas, we enjoyed staying at this hotel due to the comfortable and spacious room with a great view. The bed mattress was cozy enough to sleep the whole night through. the abundant and free parking space was a plus point, directly in front of our room and close to all the hotel facilities, which made it easy to move around.

Christmas season brought several parties and events, which caused a lot of noise and disturbance during the entire night. The restaurant was closed down and there was no breakfast available, leaving us with very few options to eat and drink.
